PRESS RELEASE:

PANAMA FUNGUS – DEFEATING THE SCOURGE - CLEAN ON ENTRY – CLEAN ON EXIT

Clean on Entry and Clean on Exit”  is one answer to help eradicate the Panama fungus currently threatening the far north coast banana  industry.  This industry is worth over $570 million and providing employment to many of the regions residents.

Protecting Australia’s agribusiness is a fundamental goal in which all Australians benefit and, Fleetwash,  Australia’s  leader in light and heavy vehicle wash systems, is pleased to announce the introduction of the FW-DCU22, double ended decontamination spray unit to which incorporates a heavy duty vehicle wash in between the double ended  decontamination unit.

This model is unique in that its innovative design provides for “clean on entry and clean on exit” of all vehicles using the combined wash and decontamination system.  This is achieved  by providing  firstly,  a heavy duty wash of all vehicles entering and exiting the wash  followed by a decontamination spray regardless of which way the vehicle is travelling.

This design eliminates the need for vehicles to reverse inside the wash bay, or to  go around and back through the wash bay, exposing the vehicle to further likely contamination.

The FW-DCU22, includes   fresh water washing and 2 separate decontamination spray systems as well as dirty water capture,  sludge separation and dirty water storage.
